Ceramic Nano Coating VS Wax

By Consumer

Using wax on a car may provide a nice finish and sense of “newness” for a car, but it does have its pitfalls. Wax can not prevent scratches, chips, or other forms of minor damage to a vehicle. Additionally, water spots, streaks, and dirt still find their way onto a fresh coat of wax. What can you use to achieve an exceptionally glossy finish and total protection from minor damage and external blemishes? Enter Ceramic Nano Coating.

Ceramic Nano Coating picks up where wax leaves off. The coating bonds to the already existent clear coat on a vehicle which makes it easy to apply. Once applied, the coating creates a durable hydrophobic surface that prevents environmental contaminants like bugs, dirt, and tar from adhering to the paint. It enhances scratch resistance, making vehicles easier to clean, and protects against damage from UV rays, extreme temperatures, and acid rain.

It even adds an amazing high gloss finish that increases depth of color. Additionally, the semi-permanent coating won’t wash off like wax, it comes with a 6 years of guaranteed paint protection.

Maintaining Your Vehicle Windows

By Consumer

Keeping your windows clean not only maintains the overall look of your car, but is essential for your safety while driving. Dirty windows cause light rays to scatter and can increase glare that impares visibility, but cleaning your windows can result in a streaky finish that’s just as distracting. Not to worry, with the right products and technique you can leave your windows looking brand new and streak-free.

Interior Windows

  1. A high-quality glass cleaner not only helps cut through dirt and grime on windows, but also delivers a streak-free finish. Spray the cleaner directly on the cloth when cleaning the interior of a window.
  2. Make sure to use a microfiber cloth when cleaning your windows. The very fine weave and softness of the cloth allow for an effective, yet gentle way to scrub dirt and fingerprints from glass.
  3. Wipe the window in every direction. Wipe the window up-and-down and then side-to-side. This method helps to limit streaking.

Exterior Windows

  1. Make sure to wash your car before cleaning the exterior of windows. An overall wash allows for the removal of most of the major grime and debris, which makes cleaning the windows later much easier.
  2. Unlike the interior, you should spray the glass cleaner directly onto the exterior window. This allows for dirt and bug residue leftover from the wash to dissolve and makes it easier to wipe off.
  3. Make sure to use a microfiber cloth. The cloth grabs onto dirt and bugs and leaves the ideal streak-free shine.
  4. Use the same motion as the interior windows to limit streaks, however, use additional pressure when needed to scrub of bugs and dirt.

Now you’re off with a great set of shiny windows that not only look great, but will help your visibility and keep you safer on the road.

Restoring A Vehicle’s Plastics and Vinyls

By Professional

In the modern automotive industry, a majority of both internal and external parts are made of plastic. Over time internal parts begin to crack, dry out, and accumulate dirt. External parts are a whole different story. These parts are continuously exposed to elements like road salt, road sand, rain, and sun. A major contributor to the damage of these parts is the sun’s UV rays, which fade and dry out these plastic parts and leave them looking dull.

So how do you fix these problems if the damage has already been done? By using the appropriate dressings and protectants you can both restore your vehicle’s plastic and vinyl parts and protect them from future damage. Dress All and Dress All Extreme are water based silicone dressings for all interior and exterior surfaces that leave a rich, natural sheen to restore life and color to all surfaces. Add our Vinyl Icing for even more protection. Vinyl Icing is a vinyl and plastic restorer that revives the original color and shine of all of these surfaces: Door handles, side cladding, front and rear bumpers, exterior mirrors, moldings, auto trim, graphics, running boards, steps, bedliners and more. As an added bonus, it also provides 2-3 months of UV protection from just one application.
